Citizenship delays for refugees in Australia calls for government action

It is 8 of applications submitted and three after passing the citizenship test still waiting for my citizenship certificate. Was not able to travel overseas because only by Passport I can enter to the country not by travel documents.

I applied for citizenship about 16 months and I haven’t been to the citizenship test yet . I don’t know how long do I need to wait?

23 month waiting for citizenship still nothing . Not fair

It is so stressful when you just don't know when it is going to happen and you live in a limbo :(

I do agree to equality and human rights. So please consider asylum seekers's applications for citizenship. Thanks

I got my permanent residency in 2009. Passed the test in June 2004 and received a letter of my application approval in 6 months. In 2015 department sent me an invitation letter for ceremony and the next day they called me and said it was a mistake and I can't attend to get my citizenship. And I am still waiting and they give me no answer.

This is nothing but discrimination

They need to have the right to be an Australian citizen.

My 5 kids miss me and they are not ready to talk with me on Skype They say you bailed us that I'm gonna sponsor them to Australia every time and they say me Daddy you always lie to us when that day will come true to sponsor us to Australia and they struggle hard in their livies to learn English and other important subjects to come to Australia to bright the Australia and their lives But unfortunately we are still waiting to get Citizenship and show to my kids that I'm not lier am honest and try my best for my lovely family and kids
