I support Judge Harada. I have worked with Ashley before she became judge. I continue to work with her now that she serves as Judge. I do believe she has sound judgment. She is unbiased and fair.

I need to stop following this story because it is making me lose faith in people. I cannot even begin to count how many of these comments and letters begin with “I personally know Ashley” and then proceed with some platitude about her. No one is trying to say she doesn’t treat her friends and close circle well. If anyone has ever gone to a sentencing most criminals will have people who are being sentenced on serious crimes will have people speak about their kindness and compassion. People who commit heinous crimes can also teach Sunday school and volunteer. Being nice to some people and breaking the law in other areas are not mutually exclusive. No one is attempting to overturn an election here or take that away. Ashley broke the rules and admitted it, Ashley lies under oath (perjury) and admitted it, Ashley destroyed someone’s career for a personal grievance and admitted it (which does show how she treats people who are not her friends) I have friends who knew her from the community and being a lawyer as well and live in fear of her wrathful retaliation because it’s real it was admitted. It’s hard when a friend or someone you know makes a huge mistake and doesn’t mean you throw them out. But please realize the seriousness of this and the crimes that have been admitted. And that while many of you say you have faith in her just as many have fear of her and do not believe she’s honest and have no faith in her. The punishment needs to fit what has happened and address those concerns.

This scene is familiar. The media has the power to ruin a life and someone’s character. Why bother to humble yourself and make a public apology when some will never accept it and believe themselves without sin. The world cannot receive the spirit of truth. The allegations were investigated and a just decision made. We live and we learn. Keep working Judge Harada.

Cant bully a duly elected judge out of office because the other party lost. I dont know much about this, but rt is rt and wrong is wrong. To me it sounds like 2016, she will expose the corruption and they want her gone. Shows you alot about the other side. Just my thoughts.

Ashley is an asset to our District Court and was elected by our community with the knowledge of all the accusations that she has since admitted to. Voters were not shocked by Ashley's admission because the concerns were voiced prior to election and enough of us felt the allegations were not severe enough to change our mind about our vote for District 8. I voted for Ashley, as a Democrat! I feel Ashley Harada was elected for a reason and she is doing a great job on the bench.

Judge Harada is an accomplished woman, skilled, smart, empathetic, and she should not be removed from the bench - except by the voters! She has my wholehearted support.

We should not remove a judge on such tenuous charges. This smacks of jealously on the part of her opponents.

Overturning the result of an election, a vote of the people because your candidate didn't win
begs the question ...Why have elections? Why not have a group of attorneys and judges select who they want instead of who the people have elected.
