We, the undersigned, are opposed to the rezoning of the property known as Range View Estates in Mead, Colorado, from RSF-1 to RSF-4. Our concerns are various, but include reduced property values, increased safety hazards that accompany significant increases in traffic, increase in noise and congestion, nighttime light pollution, overcrowding in schools, and stress on utilities. We strongly urge the major, trustees and planning commission to stand by the originally agreed upon compromise from 2008 when the property was rezoned from agricultural to residential, and keep the property zoned RSF-1.
