As law abiding citizens of the state of Washington, we call on Governor Inslee and our elected officials to do what is required to protect individuals and property amidst the violent and unlawful activity of protesters in our state.

We ask you to please:

• support the arrest and prosecution of protesters who infringe on the rights of individuals or inflict damage on the property of others
• support local and state officers in protecting individuals, businesses, personal property, state property, and federal property from the unlawful and destructive actions of protesters
• allow and support federal involvement where federal property is in need of protection or where local and state officials need assistance

No public official, elected to represent the people of this state, should stand by while unlawful activity places Washington state citizens and businesses in danger. We consider it your obligation to uphold the laws of our state and call on you to immediately do what is necessary to put a stop to the unlawful activity associated with the protests being held in Seattle and other communities.
