He is running this city into the ground. Crime is up, streets are littered with potholes and damage and he doesn't care. He is useless and needs to go.

Someone really needs to help the Mayor & chief. It has to be painful when your pants are on fire.

Never have i ever seen someone as low as this Dean Jessup has been. From his office on down it has been nothing but lies to every tax payer in the City of Lawrence,In

I wrote to the governor and state police you might as well have talked to the wall of stupidity. Neither one will do squat to help. Wonder who is using the new style of knee pads?

I couldn't believe when I heard the right out lies from Walton saying that the state vet had checked the surviving dogs which was a lie. Too go even further all the dogs but one were killed!!!! But I would imagine Walton treats his pets the same way!!!

In addition to the above, Jessup was responsible for a $175,000 property owned by the city being sold to his friend for $30.000. He made sure no one knew the property was for sale, took no public bids, etc. This is a felony by someone who has a legal fiduciary responsibility to this city. He also turned down a free HVAC system & installation for the animal shelter, which had no working furnace, he did so for no other reason than a petty dislike for someone. This was another violation of his fiduciary duty to this city. What kind of responsible official turns down thousands of dollars in free furnace & installation. This man IS nothing more than a snake-oil salesman, getting rich off those he's supposed to serve.

Our leaders should set the bar by example of professional and caring behavior. His decisions should be based by what is best for his community. This man seems to have no idea how to do his job. Abuse and cruelty seems to be his legacy. Time for him to go.
