An x-ray exam is a necessary tool for the safety and proper care for the patient. Why would you take this away from chiropractors who specialize in this area? The same is taking away an ECG to a cardiologist.

This is a ridiculous idea that opposes part of our own profession.

X-ray is essential to detect underlying spinal malformations, confirm palpatory objective findings, rule out any underlying conditions that should not be adjusted (ex. pars fracture spondylolisthesis) and to instill confidence in patient care. X-ray to the chiropractor is like blood work to the medical doctor.

It's important for patients to know how our spins are at the chiro office so our chiropractor could help us accordingly

In my case the use of X-rays were critical to establish that my Atlas was rotated by 15 degrees causing me debilitating nausea and dizziness for many years. Treatment has brought this back into alignment and I am so thankful. I whole heartedly support the use of X-ray technology at the discretion of the the Chiropractor in consultation with the client.

Why on earth would you interfere so arbitrarily? Are you saying their training is insufficient? Well, then, improve the training! What other reason could you possibly have?

The Diagnostics is a necessary tool for the safety and proper care for the patient. This is a no brainer.....why would you take this away from chiropractors who specialize in this area?

I am ever thankful of Kilian Chiropractic and the NUCCA technique used in my treatment consistently in the last 30 years. It is my belief that I would not be mobile now, after a nasty riding accident (in which a horse went up over backwards, landing square on my torso) I understand that the few xrays that I have needed over this 30 years, provided Dr Kilian with the precise information necessary to adjust me correctly, keep me in adjustment, and still walking, gardening, and yes, riding at 77 years of age. Therefore , I would say, please do not take any tools away. Instead, take the time and effort for education where needed. Thank you, Mercia McKitrick

X-rays are an important tool for a chiropractor to diagnose their patients and to give them the necessary adjustments.

I have had treatments without xrays and it increased my discomfort and pain, I have had Chiropractic help since I was 16 from an injury that occurred when I was 12, GP Doctors assumed I had a brain tumor but never solved my constant severe headaches until I was x rated and treated in 1979 and again for an injury in 2013 for my Atlas bone after a long failed physio regime including an MRI and WCB stating I had a chronic injury" good luck", Chiropractic solved my pain ...again with the help of an x ray
