Critical information for the best corrections for the patients come from xray! Often there are unexpected curvature, rotation, anomalies, previous injury, current state of degenerative changes, etc that would absolutely indicate a DIFFERENT ADJUSTMENT. I feel it is NEGLIGENT not to have xrays as part of the details necessary to provide patients with the best possible plan and outcome!

Removing or restricting a tool many practitioners use is reckless. While not all DCs utilize radiography, many rely on it for vital data when caring for patients.

We specialize working on the neuromusculoskeletal system so why would we, as medical professionals not get a visual representation of what we are working on and adjusting. X-rays can determine how we treat certain patients and have saved me a few times, when traditionally they would have said Don’t x-ray. Thanks for creating this petition!

X-rays are so vital to chiropractic. I have had them diagonose issues which I’m afraid won’t have been found without them

Without x-rays correcting my neck would not have happened properly. Do not stop the use of X-Rays !

The use of x-rays is a vital component in the evaluation and management of a patient's condition. Not allowing chiropractors to use x-rays is like telling the orthopedic he can not use a MRi to evaluate a knee with a suspected ACL tear. Or an oncologist not allowed to use a CT Scan to see if the patient has cancer. A rheumatologist not being allowed to perform a blood draw to evaluate their patient for an auto immune condition. This is absolutely ridiculous. How does this benefit the patient? It does not and is substandard care.

Seriously. I have never heard something so stupid. X-Ray is absolutely necessary to enable/ assist the chiropractor to see the spine and what needs to be adjusted.

Xray is an ESSENTIAL tool necessary in Chiropractic to help the CHiropractor detect and specifically correct the subluxated vertebrae of the spine. Without this essential tool, you are tying the Doctor’s hands and that leads to guessing!!!!! Guessing is NOT acceptable in our profession! Seeing is knowing AND knowing is the difference between our patients getting well and healing OR NOT!!!!

Restrictions to x-rays effect the ability to properly diagnosis a patient's condition. It should br up to the Doctors to determine what is necessary for patient care. This is an example of government overstepping.
