Es muy importante el uso de radiografías en la profesión debido a las alteraciones biomecanicas que pueden existir

How does it make sense to adjust someone's spine safely ..... Without knowing if any contraindications that could endanger that patients life? Taking x-rays out if the question IS malpractice on their behalf.

It is vital for me to receive my chiropractic treatments. Please allow them to continue to work as trained and take x-rays as required.

This new edict handicaps these practitioners from completely doing their job. A career they were trained in which includes the use of x-rays in order to efficiently and effectively treat a patient.

If not for the X-ray my treatment would not have been complete. It was a “must”!

Como quiropráctico a todos mis pacientes les pido radiografías ya que he encontrado alteraciones anatómicas que puedan afectar a la Biomecánica de cuerpo o tumores o alguna otra alteración sin necesidad de que el paciente tenga dolor

I think it is awesome that my chiropractor has an xray machine. I can get an xray and results much quicker than through my family doctor. I see no issue with my chiropractor being able to provide this service and it does not take away from the medical care my family doctor provides but is an added bonus.

Without NUCCA I would be a suicide statistic. I was completely impressed by the x-ray taken from below my jaw to evaluate C1/C2. The chiropractor explained and showed me the misalignment degree and adjusted appropriately. After 10 years of a cruel injury induced existence, I began to recover. I have a H.B.Sc in biological sciences and a career based on my science degree. The x-rays in my case were vital towards the assessment of the severity of misalignment. Enforce penalties for overuse? 100%. Reward proper use!

These Chiropractors do great work. If you take this tool out of their hands thee will be a lot of people that you will be putting back in PAIN!!!

The NUCCA practitioner I visited was brilliant. After only one visit he corrected my long term neck/shoulder/arm pain and discomfort. I have not needed any form of re-adjustment. I would ask the BC College of Chiropractors to immediately allow trained practitioners to immediately resume their X-ray procedures.

Don't understand the rationale for this bylaw change.

Chiropractors are health care professionals with extensive studies and clinical training. It is up to them to use clinical judgement if a patient needs a X-rays or not. It should not be restricted because it doesn't fit the medical model.
