I believe having an X-ray machine and subsequent measurements to determine misalignment is a important asset to the chiropractor.

The X-ray is an important tool required for initial prognosis. I would not feel comfortable with a chiropractor making adjustments without having taken a X-ray. If X-rays are no longer being taken then I would not be using a chiropractor for any ailments I may have.

structure impacts function. evalutation of the integrity of structure is far more than identifying a malignant tumor or fracture. We are another option for people which view health globaly. we don't need to do the same thing as all the other professionnal and sure keep our right for xray

My life was taken over by my symptoms. I visited regular chiropractors, doctors, massage therapist and even neurologists and nothing ever worked and there were never any answers.
One day a friend mentioned NUCCA, my life was forever changed and I was able to start living normally again. Without an x ray I would not have seen how misaligned I was and could never have solved my issues and resolved my symptoms. I owe my life to to NUCCA care and it needs to continue for the many many others who it has made a great change in all their lives.

Traditional chiropractic treatment does not work for me. It reactivates all my MVA injuries. Nucca on the other hand, does not give me a bad reaction / side effects and I respond so much better to this treatment! I need this and IT CANNOT BE TAKEN AWAY FROM ME.

Taking away x- ray usage by Doctors of Chiropractic would be the same as taking away laboratory usage by Doctors of Medicine. One could still practise one's profession whether chiropractic or medicine, but it would be at a great loss of vital diagnostic information, and a disservice to the patient's quality of care. How sad and unjust if that happens in the future.
Organized medicine tried to destroy the chiropractic profession in the past, as proven by the famous trial of Dr Wilk and others against AMA and other major medical organizations - which proved that they were guilty of the charge, ie they attempted to covertly destroy the chiropractic profession. Removing the ability for chiropractors to order x-rays would be a continuation of the harassment faced by chiropractors and their patient's seeking safe, scientifically proven treatments for their Neuromusculoskeletal problems. Let's hope common sense and justice prevails this time as it did in the Wilk and others case from over 35 years ago.

We need to learn to accept diversity and equality not only in gender and races but also in diversity in practice styles.

Recently had a case of sciatica with previous history of breast cancer. Thank God I took X-rays as the cancer metastasized to her vertebrae. This is why we need to have X-rays, due diligence for the patients good!

I have gone to chiropractors since having frozen shoulder 25 years ago. I only got lasting relief from NUCCA chiropractors and do not want to lose this valuable resource. Please reconsider!

I believe this is a step backwards and this type of treatment is the best treatment I have ever received from going to a chiropractor. I do not see where taking x-rays is causeing harm to the patient

X-rays done by chiropractors has helped with my pain substantially. They have been able to see I had scoliosis and adjusted my treatment accordingly. Had they not taken an X-ray of my spine I am certain I would have been more of a burden on the Canadian health system with emergency visits and doctors appointments. It’s preposterous to even consider limiting X-ray s in chiropractors offices. It would, quite literally, negatively impact people’s lives. It’s shameful. Please consider people’s quality of life when making decisions on health care providers practices.

I don't feel that there is an abuse here, so what is the problem with having an x-ray if needed?
