Citizens for Chiropractic and the Continued Use of X-rays

Since my x-ray and knowing what was wrong with my neck and spine I have been receiving treatment to correct my issues. I have not had any migraines since my treatments began and off a number of pain killers. I am doing exercises and treatments with a chiropractor to correct the rest of my spine. It’s amazing to feel pain free without having surgeries.

Appropriate use of x-ray radiographs can be a vitally important part of a thorough examination process for anyone considering Chiropractic care. It can aid in diagnosis, evaluate spinal curvature, measure scoliosis and help screen for safety of care and contraindications. X-ray evaluation can add tremendous value to the evaluative process.

Ridiculous and puts patients in jeopardy for proper health care

I also stand for the use X-rays!

Chiropractors are well qualified to take and analyze Xrays which are part of best patient care practice. To deny this right is hurtful to the patient outcomes, for the thousands of people who rely on the profession for their health and wellbeing.

I am very disappointed with this news. NUCCA has been the only chiropractic treatment that really helps me and with NUCCA you need to have an initial X-ray to establish a baseline.

Xrays are crucial to the health Snd well being of the patient.

I wouldn’t be pain free today if it weren’t for NUCCA chiropractic and the X-rays taken to show my neck issues.

Palmer College was the first school to teach X-rays! What a shame to BC board, know your history first !!!

What a shame to our profession and science. What’s next? Banning adjustments?

Eliminating XR within a chiropractic office is irresponsible! If Canada put the well being of its citizens FIRST then this would not even be a consideration. PEOPLE FIRST. XR are necessary!!

X-rays are an important piece of diagnosing for chiropractors. Taking them away jeopardizes the public’s health.

I personally am stunned. I have been an atlas orthogonal chiropractor 21 yrs and x-rays are vitally important to not only do our trade but for patient safety.

If a chiropractor hadn't have given me an xray I never would have gotten the help I needed.
