I think it’s really important to have a X-ray to determine what’s going on inside

Chiropractors have become a very important part of our health and wellness over the last 20 years. Having X-rays is an integral tool necessary for them to do their job at a professional level to provide an excellence of care that can not be achieved without that window into the body for making their judgement calls. Lets not make it guesswork without X-ray! They must rely on continuing to practice with using X-rays when they deem it necessary to know the best way to support their patients for their safest health program.

I want to continue being x-rayed to see my progress and I trust my chiropractor that he requires the information. All I know is that at 61 I feel physically better tha I ever have. Chiropractic care is already a tough sell, and many may not reach out on blind faith.

Radiographic images have not only assisted in giving the best care to my patients, it also has been a tool that has found symptomless conditions that could have been detrimental to the patients health. This includes Tumors, enlarged hearts, cervical malformations (that was later found to have syrinx formations on MRI), dangerous fluid buildup, treatable scoliosis that was previously missed, cervical instability, contraindications for care that would not have been seen without images, and many other conditions. Without radiographic images it can severely limit the ability to treat the patients and put them at any unnecessary risk.

Chiropractors provide essential health services. They shouldn't be handicapped by unnecessary regulations.

An educated chiropractic clinician can derive many relevant details from X-ray that the majority of allopathic trained doctors cannot. The amount of radiation exposure with modern equipment for a full spine X-ray is negligible compared to the information potentially gleaned and should be a decision between the clinician and their patient.

As a chiropractic patient, the use of X-ray has been invaluable to not only identify spinal issues but to track the healing process!

I am a chiropractor in Chicago. I practice an upper cervical specific technique that REQUIRES X-rays, without them I quite literally wouldn't be able to do anything. I have helped and do help people with vertigo, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, migraines, and so much more. If you told my patients I could no longer practice I believe they would lose all hope in life. X-rays are essential for chiropractic, not just in America but all over the world.
