My chiropractor has saved my large husband and myself from years of discomfort. It is always a relief to know that if i am out of alignment, my health can quickly be restored by my NUCCA chiropractor. I have also recommended many family members and friends, who would agree with me. Is this just a cost saving measure for insurance??

I had an X-ray done at my chiropractor's office after medical doctors failed to diagnose a pinched nerve. She was able to give me the treatment I needed and cure my condition.

Many times chiropractors are the first ones to find pathology because they took X-rays. This is an important part of our care and it would be irresponsible not to take X-rays to provide the best care possible.

I have found it invaluable to be able to have my chiropractor have access to x-rays as it has been crucial to my healing and recovery from neck injuries . It would be devastating for the restriction of the use of this technology which can aid in giving a proper assessment and accurately assess the healing going on. This is connected to best practices, and particularly in certain kind of methodologies within chiropractors it is essential. In some ways this is as absurd as telling dentists they cannot use xrays, and limits the breadth and depth in which chiropractor's can treat their clients.

this is a very important matter. NUCCA is the only treatment that has helped me with historical spinal damage

Crazy. As as profession that introduces forces into the spine and extremities, having a better understanding of what lies within allows us to not only understand and adjust as specifically as possible but also rule out any contraindications. I once identified bone cancer in a patient who had been prescribed pain killers for months with no improvement. Thank goodness I didn’t try and adjust him. The medical community has no issue with x-raying spine and extremity related problems, despite in most cases actually never treating with anything other than medications.
Seems ridiculous to think this is even being considered!

This seems like an effort to increase specialization for the financial gain of a select few than anything to do with patient care. Who benefits by taking diagnostic information for the Chiropractor?

I was a long time sufferer of migraine headaches. My first NUCCA treatment cut my migraines in half. I have many skeletal issues also. I found that the NUCCA treatments were so beneficial for me and enabled me to keep working for many years. Without this treatment I don't know what I would have done. Please don't take the ability to take x-rays away from these chiropractors because I really do not know what I will do.

We need Xrays to do our jobs! We have more advance training then you know of and us chiropractors are far more advanced than normal radiologist.

Doctors of chiropractic should not be limited in their diagnostic abilities.

I was struggling with vertigo and balance issues and got no answers or effective help anywhere else until I found out about NUCCA chiropractic. I struggled with issues for years. Regular chiropractic techniques gave me vertigo. After only 3 NUCCA appointments I felt at least 80% better but it took a long time for my body to strengthen and hold those adjustments. However, this treatment was the beginning and led me down a path where I am finally able to rebuild my strength and my life. X-rays are a necessary part of patient evaluation and planning care for NUCCA chiropractors. Please don’t drive our NUCCA chiropractors out of BC.
