Citizens for Chiropractic and the Continued Use of X-rays

Ultimately, to X Ray or not needs to be the free choice of the patient: NOT the college.

I have benefited greatly from chiropractic sessions and believe the x-rays are an essential part of treatment.

Ridiculous

It is absolutely essential to use x-ray for NUCCA chiropractic purposes. It is currently the only way to derive our listings to correct the integrity of the spine.

Please allow chiropractors to continue taking xrays. It’s the only way to see how to adjust a patient!

Why take it away from her?

Chiropractors should be able to perform their diagnostics. The college should rethink their strategies facilitating chiropractors for the best outcome in the best interest of their patients rather than dictating how chiropractor should practice without proper diagnostics. Can a dentist practice to their maximum capacity if the college takes away their Xray capability. The chiropractor college should explain to their members and the public why X-rays are restricted. I am a health professional and I find this disgusting.

So, when someone with what is likely a grade 2 spondy comes in that can be negatively affected by a lumbar adjustment, we should just ignore, right?

Using xrays is an absolute necessity for detecting and correcting injuries to the cranio-cervical junction. Xrays are necessary for precise measurements and ensuring patient safety!

Please reconsider this. My life has been changed by NUCCA care, and I have tried several other chiropractic techniques, physical therapy, massage, and medication with no avail. NUCCA was the only form of care that has helped my refractory headaches.

As a patient, I will only see a chiropractor who has the ability to take x-rays and then recommend a specific treatment plan that is guided by the information gained from X-ray imaging. I am terrified of visiting a chiropractor who, going in blind, wants to crack my neck and could potentially cause irreparable harm.

The role of the College is to serve and protect the public. This does NOT serve the public!

Only reason to ban is fear of Chiropractic services as competition. They're not.

Xrays need to be the first step in starting a new chiropractic treatment.

Xrays give scientific validation to proving spinal biomechanical misalignments (subluxation).

I am 100% behind our Chiropractors using x-rays to determine lines of treatments and the board (BCCC) who makes these decisions to take this away need to look at all aspects of this thoroughly and especially with input from the doctors themselves.

I’ve been seeing a chiropractor for 26 years. Now seeing a Nucca practioner I’m seeing the best results ever. Seeing my x-rays was extremely useful to understanding my condition and the length of time I’ve had it. I high forced birth.

X-ray usage by chiropractors is essential for many of our well established techniques.
