X-rays are essential to be able to offer safe care and to assist with differential diagnosis to the benefit of the patient. To deny assess to this would be to put patients at risk.

So far my Chiropractor has been able to help me with my neck and back issues so much better by doing X-rays at his office!

Chiropractors need to continue to be able to practice at their max scope of practice and determine imaging studies as they do now.

As many of my colleagues are thinking, I will no longer have the enthusiasm to refer prospective students to this college...unless?...that's what the medicrats are hoping to achieve...that would be fewer D.C.'s!
It's an insidious medi-tumor in the chiropractic world

So with this type of mentality, I would expect that Dentists will no longer be able to take x-rays to assess for dental caries? Absolutely ridiculous!

Let chiropractors do their jobs as effectively as they can. They have the training and the expertise to take and analyze X-ray images and this is one of their diagnostic tools. Removing this from their arsenal of tools would be akin to blindfolding them when they first meet a new patient and then asking them to help their patients in a timely manner. Forcing patients to go elsewhere to get the X-rays taken would lead to countless mistakes and delays in treatment. Usually when X-rays need to be taken, it is when someone is severely injured or in a lot of pain. Forcing them to jump through more hoops and suffer longer is unethical. Remember your oath!

X-rays are vital tools for proper and safe correction of the upper cervical spine. Don’t reduce the efficacy and quality of care for the millions of patients who need specific chiropractic care.

Chiropractors should not be limited in their ability to use x-rays to increase the specificity, safety, and effectiveness in caring for patients.

The implemented has been fast tracked and paid for by our board the conclusion of the rapid review of literature, could have been guessed by following Pierre Cote's Comments on Twitter. This was ill done and should not have been done without fully investigating the full literature, and examine all the evidence. This board seems to be fully on board with driving their agenda and implementing policies based on their own bias and conjecture.

NUCCA is the only form of chiropractic adjustment that has worked for me. It is essential for my overall health.

Newer patient (less than 10 yrs.) The need for this petition is ridiculous! Why on earth would any medical org. want to stop Chiropractic X-Rays! Perhaps because too many people are being helped and not ending up having to go on killer meds.

Upper Cervical NEEDS X-RAYS to better tell EXACTLY where the particular problem is so the entire body can receive relief. I am a 20+ year grateful patient.

I have been coming to kilian chiropractic for 20 year and I have had 2 sets of ex rays done just to make sure my adjustments are perfectly set. I feel it is a necessary tool for him and it’s not over used

X-rays are necessary to avoid further damage due to treatment.

X-rays are one way to know rather than to guess when it comes to a patients care. Taking away diagnostic tools like this is a careless and irresponsible consideration.

I'd like to know what's the rationale of the BC College of Chiropractors for this restriction.
I had benefited from the use of X-rays by my chiropractor without being a person with a serious medical pathology.

My family went to a DC who followed the recommendation of not using xray except for injury. As a result, half of my family not only didn't improve from our spinal adjustments, but once we were finally able to get an xray, we had lasting damage and irregular curvatures that could have been prevented if the DC knew what he was adjusting. YEARS of non-improvement, pain, headaches. Went to a new DC who did and xray and was able to correct our issues after several months. This is a VERY bad and IRRESPONSIBLE practice to only use xrays in emergency settings.
