Please stop this development until the state has time to fix Highway 9.

For the sake of our children and to promote safety and harmonious neighborhood. I strongly support this petition.

Please keep the area near the schools safe.

The Eastview Village Development should have been permitted in a manner that doesn't degrade the quality of life for current residents. It's not too late for PDS to atone for its previous mistakes and require D.R. Horton to alleviate the safety issues outlined in this petition.

The items mentioned are significant health, safety and welfare items. The counties lack of concern for protecting these residents and the school children borders on criminal and is negligent. It is obvious what is transpiring here!!! Our community deserves better than the representation we are receiving from Snohomish County officials!

New development should not be impacting existing communities in a negative way. They should elevate the living experience, not degrade it.

I am a Little Cedars Student and oppose this project. I am concerned for my safety at school, especially coming and going. Traffic is already so bad and this will negatively impact students.

I opposed this development and the traffic plan for this neighborhood.

Snohomish County PDS- You have an opportunity to listen to your community and do the right thing. Prioritize safety over profit. Whatever DR HORTON is offering you is not worth it. Do you have the courage to step up this time?

I don’t support this development or the safety risks it poses to the community.

The current traffic flows and congestion through the schools are dangerous and poorly designed. I drive my kids to school every morning and have spent so many hours watching this uncontrolled mess. Adding traffic from 1,300 new homes, not to mention becoming the quickest way south from Greenleaf and Lowell-Larimer, is going to be untenable. There is so much design and development knowledge wrapped up in this project or available through the County and State. Please, let’s use this opportunity to FIX THIS. Please send a traffic engineer to observe this street while school is in full session, instead of relying on a traffic study performed in the summer. And please design the intersections on Cathcart as if your own kids would be the ones crossing or driving them in the dark every morning.

I have lived in the valley 70 years and my family well over a century. I am concerned about the communities along both sides of the Snohomish River Valley, public safety, wise land use, water mitigation to keep families and their properties safe

I am very concerned about the added traffic to the area especially on the narrow neighborhood. The elementary schools are already overcrowded and I’m not sure where the influx of kids are going to go.

Stop the insanity building! The roads are not sufficient to carry the extra cars. The schools are already over capacity! Be responsible in developing.

As a resident of Greenleaf on 79th Ave, I am very concerned about the lack of care or concern for existing residents from the builder and county. We’ve already experienced severe mud runoff from shortcuts & oversights, a wind tunnel that downed multiple street trees and persistent dust on Cathcart & around the elementary & high school. Filtering more traffic through our quiet, hilly street and onto a small, two lane farm road with no shoulder is a safety hazard and will have a significant negative impact on current residents’ peace and safety.

I agree. The traffic plan needs to be reworked. A roundabout on Cathcart Way does not make sense. It will slow traffic.

Too much traffic slready on 132nd St. Aldo I love wild animals, but not in my fenced yard after my dog! Last week alone, a bear and a bobcat. Bobcat every night and morning. We are elderly and getting too old to deal with this.

This mega project is being rammed through without much regards to due diligence. There are two public schools that will be impacted not to mention local residents. Let's not overlook or skip anything for the sake of the developer and county treasury department.
