Citizens Against the Building of Concrete Plant in Iowa Colony ETJ

I live within a 5 mile radius and this would environmentally impact us negatively.

I live in Iowa Colony!

I think this a bad idea to put so close to our neighborhood our streets are already bad.

I chose to live in Iowa colony because of the area and lack of hazardous conditions. If I wanted to live next to a concrete plant or chemical plant I could have. I’ll definitely be moving for my kids sake, if this does happen.

Stop, relocate somewhere else.

I grew up in Texas City and moved to Manvel to get away from things like this. My Father and my husband are victims of the pollutants and hazards of these types of plants and we do not wish to live nextdoor to one.

Local resident for 34 years and oppose this plant.

This area contains many residential communities not to mention all the new residential developments planned for this area over the next three years. With that comes new schools, parks, and shopping areas. More exposure to pollution put out by concrete batch plants. I am against building this plant in this area or any similar area.

I strongly oppose the building of this plant. This plant poses a health threat to my family and other citizens of our community.

This poses a significant health risk to the citizens of Iowa Colony and will pose a safety hazard due to the heavy equipment needed to maintain the plant.

I am a Meridiana resident, residing in the city of Iowa Colony. We moved here for freshness, not a plant producing dust and other contaminants into the air. My family has respiratory issues and can not deal with this.

As a Resident of Sterling Lakes the community 3 miles due south of the proposed location, I am deeply concerned about the air quality since the prevaling winds would bring dust and other debris directly into our homes. The people of this community purposefully moved miles from nearest metro areas specifically to aovid such air, noise and traffic pollution.

I live in Iowa Colony and my family is strongly opposed to a concrete plant being built anywhere near our neighborhood or surrounding area due to environmental and health concerns.
