We are against the airport expansion. This currently small commuter airport is surrounded by densely populated suburbs. I am outraged that our city officials are even considering an expansion plan.

I live in the Evans Point community which is North of the Palomar Airport. I am constantly bothered by the airplanes taking off from the airport, making the turn over our area, and flying east. The noise is continuous for 2 - 4 minutes from the time the aircraft take off until long after they pass over my house. Quite a few of these aircraft pass very low over my house. Today, a very noisy plane passed over my house at 6:30 AM, waking my wife and granddaughter. The noise is especially prevalent during the summer months. I am concerned that expanding the airport will result in more noise, affecting my family's health and my property values.

Since those currently responsible for the airport refuse to listen to the community's concerns now, why in the world would we want to expand the airport under the same leadership?

"Quiet Hours" MUST be enforced. Flight plans MUST not allow planes to fly over homes at low altitude. They must head west to the ocean, gaining altitude before changing direction.

We don't need to expand the runway at Palomar Mcllean airport, nor de we need larger and large planes using this runway.
