I grew up in Newport Beach years ago and saw the Orange County Airport go from a very small airport to a huge, noisy airport with no regard for the neighbors in its flight path. Residents in the city were promised that the airport would remain small, which everyone realized was a lie by the time it was too late to do anything about it. Don't let that happen here!

My husband and I are residents of Carlsbad Aviara for the last 17 years. A John Wayne type Airport is completely unacceptable for all of us. If we wanted to live that we could move up to Irvine.

Wouldn't want the kids/teachers/visitors at my high school (which is just over 1 mile away from the airport) to be affected by the sound of Boeing 737s...

Pilots do not follow flight plans and stay away from houses as compared to heading out to sea.

Expanding Palomar Airport is a terrible idea, for all the reasons already mentioned....noise & jet fuel pollution,etc. and do we really need more traffic and road congestion?

I live 3 miles from Palomar Airport & have heard an increase in noise over the last 19 years. It's enough! Do NOT expand the airport.

I am against further expansion of airline services at Palomar Airport. The noise has already increased over my home from the private planes flying low overhead
