This expansion is bad for us that bought here for the lower congestion and the 40% open space also under attack. Hoping both movements work together

While the County has reported operation losses at Palomar, they still want to extend the runway and increase operations. Studys have shown that there is not a demand for 72 passenger planes with regularly scheduled flights from this airport which is unattended by traffic controllers 10PM-7AM and existing private and commercial fights ignore the flight time and pattern guidelines. I oppose one dime my tax dollars going to this private boys fly club.

I bought in the nearby area for the quiet surroundings. My 86-yr-old husband and I cherish the quiet. Please do not take it away. We can barely hear each other as it is!

On 6/8/14 jet took off at 12:52 am during quiet hours. Loud and noisy. AP cannot control existing flights so expansion is not feasible.

When we bought our property we were promised a small airport with few flights. It is lowd, the planes taking off before six AM wake me up many mornings and sometimes after 1:00AM. We smell the fumes daily. The traffic on Palomar Airport Road is increased noticeably.

We must demand the FAA impose limited hours of operation. Folks this will move forward their is big names behind this and alot of money at stake. The statements being made that the airport will generate less noise, because they can take off sooner and climb faster. The truth is depending on the load and weather they might need the whole runeway. The traffic and noise will be a nightmare and our home values will decline.
