As a Realtor active in this area for over 35 years, this is an outrage and completely inappropriate for San Marino. Please do not allow this destruction to occur. Please honor the history of San Marino.

What is the purpose in destroying architecture with historic integrity and a unique sense of place in creating a community?

I grew up on Circle Drive just down from this lovely home. It would be a mistake to tear this home down. Please preserve it!

I grew up on Circle Drive and fondly remember this beautiful home. It looks like it is still in incredible shape, so I can't imagine why anyone would want to tear it down. Please save!

I insist that the lacy park rose garden arbor and the preexisting plaques honoring the citizens of San Marino that loved the park be reinstated, renovated or left alone. It is an outrage that we paid to honor someone and then the plaques are simply taken down!

We need to be saving these wonderful homes that have made San Marino the special and charming city it is (was?). Who ever is allowing this to happen needs to go drive around Orange County and ask them self if that is what they really want.

I agree with Michele Lumley -- this is the fabric of San Marino -- and it's silk!

This home is the epitome of old San Marino, gracious, and elegant. These homes are exactly why San Marino has it's reputation and why people envy those that are lucky enough to live here. Tear these homes down and we are just another American town. The heart and soul of our city is in these beautiful homes.
