Let it go. There's a home on Montecito Dr that was replaced sometime in the late "60s or early '70s that was roundly ridiculed at the time. I notice that property values haven't decreased around it and it's a beautiful home, beautifully landscaped, Change is OK. Keep pictures of your childhood homes and allow new cultures and designs to bring their best, too.
