To people that didn’t come the beautiful struggle of Fifth Ward, finding reason to stop gentrification may seem unnecessary. However, when you know the water from the storm is the only reason for your growth, you find every reason to try and stop

Fifth Ward doesn't need an enclave of gentrification, it needs investment that will lift up the people who already live in Fifth Ward. The "East River" project as planned is a subsidy for gentrification. Please trust the Circle Coalition's guidance to ensure that this investment is made equitably.
