Yes! I realize that there are many factors involved with faculty selection (and retention), but I don't think I've signed a petition like this before, or even seen one for that matter - so clearly this guy is doing something right. Personally, I find him to be reasonable, personable, highly intelligent, and an effective teacher. I want this program to be awesome and successful, and from a student's perspective, Christopher Dryer's presence is a big asset.

Dr. Dryer deserves this position more than any other professor I have encountered at our institution. I wish him the best in his career. His passion and knowledge are only outweighed by his patience and caring nature for students.

An international student like me, who had a huge challenge to understand the statistics, survived through the psychometrics and statistics. Now, I have the confidence to understand what are the messages behind the numbers in statistics. This magic has been happening in my academic life only because of Dr. Christopher Dryer. Not only me my cohort, we all feel the light in the darkness of statistics for our academic endeavor. I deeply appreciate his hard work, pertinence and the inspirational way of teaching. I truly appreciate his guidance and hope other students will also have the blessings to learn statistics with ease in future. I strongly wish that PsyD program and CIIS will take the right decision for Dr. Christopher and hope to have him as one of our core faculty.

Dr. Dryer accomplishes the miraculous feat of not only making statistics understandable, he makes it fun. This subject would otherwise be an awful experience and he really pours so much energy, love and attention to detail in creating a genius format that results in student success. He not only understand the material, he is able to TEACH it, which in my experience is rare for statistics; most professors I have had in this area do not give a clear delivery for such a complex subject. Lastly, he is PASSIONATE in a way that energizes the entire class, even at the end of a long day. It is because of his genuine enthusiasm, love of statistics, students, and general evolution of humanity that we are all carried by his grace through this challenging subject matter.

Christopher lectures with true passion. Anyone can see this, even the blind!
He makes statistics which is an extremely hard subject easily comprehendible and understandable. I believe only a few college professors have the prowess to do this.

Dr. Dryer is universally loved by students and has a talent for teaching that we greatly appreciate. He has a gift for explaining complex concepts in ways that are easy to understand. I do not have a talent for statistics and feel that I would not have done as well without him.

It is because of this Professor's support and training that I was able to pass that Psychometric class. CIIS, do that right thing.

He's a great teacher and actually cares. He takes time to explain a difficult subject like statistics in terms that relates specifically to that person. That was my personal first-hand experience, which bennifits my relationship with my son.

I think Dr. Dryer brings a wide range of experiences from real world as well as from research and transpersonal psychology. From my experience, it is quite unique for an individual to maintain such a wide repertoire of experiences from both the applied world and research arena. It's been a great blessing to have Dr. Dryer as a professor.

Dr. Dryer's class was far from my favorite subject matter, and it was a very challenging set of courses. In spite of this, Dr. Dryer brought clarity, energy, and encouragement throughout the year, and in so doing made the class more than tolerable - he made it enjoyable. I feel that he would be a great addition to the core faculty of the PsyD program.

I think it is telling that students have organized a petition on behalf of Dr. Dryer, whose research classes were perhaps the most difficult and time-consuming of all the classes we had in three hard years of training. He is a teacher dedicated to his subject and passionate about passing on his interest and knowledge. He would make a valuable addition to the CIIS core faculty.
