The TDSB is under the false impression that they can do whatever they deem necessary to hoard profit for themselves while sacrificing the future of children in the wake of their greed.

The fake grass is unhygenic. Dogs poo on there and there's no way to clean it.

Artificial turf is bad for the environment and for playing children. (Ask soccer a soccer player for one opinion.)

Money like that being spent on fake turf instead of education or enrichment programs is disappointing.

My children went to public school in Downtown Toronto and as a former Chair of the Parent Council I know how hard it can be to deal with the TDSB. I support the kids and parents at Church Street Public School.

I strongly agree with the above statements. My daughter attends church st. Jpr and will be directly effected by the poor desission making in this case. We as concerned parents have not been heard and our community will lose as a result. Terribly disappointed in the process!

I agree that the funds should go entirely to Church Street Public School, not so sure that natural grass would be an overall better choice than astroturf
