I’m part of a movement called “kill securely” and we are working our hardest to hack and destroy securlys tormenting blocking. Honestly, I’m fine if some games get blocked, this is an educational device. However, many times I have been falsely blocked. Also, when we take our Chromebook’s home, securely should be disabled. F SECURLY!

This app is the bane of my existence. I hate it more than anything else. It is harming students more than helping them. Music apps, YouTube, edutainment sites, various private browsers — all blocked, under the auspices of “safety”. Several sites schools use for learning have been blocked as well. I can understand why some sites are blocked, but just yesterday one of my teachers recommended Minecraft to help us with an assignment(architecture), and we had to remind her that it’s blocked. This site discourages freedom and does everything it can to police Avery aspect of life at school. Technically, it’s a virus, since it spreads to any device connected to your school account.

This app should not exist. It blocks almost everything, including music apps.

Securely is the vein of my existence. I'm doing my MLARC (MLA Semester assignment btw) And I see this pretty trustworthy website that ends in dot org! Perfect for citing sources and getting some along the way. however, when I clicked it, those gosh darn retarded garden gnomes pop up and tell me that the site Im trying to get on is a "streaming media" mind you, the website is called learn.academy4sc.org
and they said its streaming media. I recommend signing the petition to get rid of them.
GoGaurdian was a better filter anyways.

so. first of all. good reasons on why we should ban securly is because when us students are finished with all our work we can take a break after and play some games or watch youtube. securly gets in the way of that. secondly, it blocks stuff that school needs to use for lessons and sometimes blocks stuff thats not even supposed to be blocked like i-ready, IXL, and sometimes even google classroom. in my opinion, securly just doesnt want us to even work at this point
WE NEED OUR PRIVACY
yay securely is gone
I really need to do this
Securly is not tuff in the big '25. It's annoying
no more securly
Please get rid of it
Kill securely foundation for the win
yay.
