There are SEVERAL reasons as to why each student DESERVES their own Chromebook.

-Several scholars aren't able to access online assignments and resources at home, limiting their knowledge.

-With courses like Dual and OnRamps, it is necessary to have an online device at home to complete your online work. It is nearly impossible to learn in self-placed courses without virtual resources like YouTube, Canvas, and Schoology. The banning of YouTube is a major blockade for students to access educational class materials used in OnRamps courses, (ex. OnRamps Chemistry). YouTube features creators such as Mr. Sinn, Heimler, and Dr. Laud, teachers essential for AP courses and OnRamps. The whole platform should not be banned, but rather specific videos falling under entertainment purposes.

-Personal Chromebooks will improve students in areas like academics, bridge the equity gap, and support remote learning whilst becoming tech savvy, the future of technology. With building characteristics like responsibility and accountability, bringing back school-issued Chromebooks for each students makes Harmony students stand out in the world.
