Shame on you Norway! You should never allow atrocities like these to be perpetrated upon your citizens - especially by their own government agency! Families should be kept intact until there is no other option. Children have the greatest probability of success when raised by their own parents. I can't believe you are persecuting people for their religious beliefs without a rigorous investigation at least!

The real harm inflicted upon these children is from Barnevernet, which has needlessly torn a family apart, separating the children from each other and from their loving and only biological parents. Focus on helping children that are really being harmed, rather than those being lightly disciplined for their instruction. Proverbs 13.24: 'Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.' Rather than taking state intervention too far and forcing political ideologies on others, the state should respect freedom of belief and religious practice. If there is any soundness in that government, return these children to their parents!

As a new mom, I am beyond disturbed to hear this story. This is every parents' worst nightmare. I pray- yes, PRAY- that this grave wrong is righted, this family is reunited, and that they find peace. I'm also very happy that my Norwegian ancestors departed Norway for the USA a very, very long time ago!

As a secular non religious person, I am appalled by the behavior of the Norwegian government. I am a US citizen & have always stood up for the protection of the LGBTQ community this is no different. No government has the right to deprive a loving family to raise their children according to their own values. I sincerely hope the pain this family is experiencing will end soon. My heart is broken for this family.

This is rediculous! Governments allow truly abusive parents keep their children and yet steal children away from a loving Christian family because someone finds God offensive. This is NOT right!

This is absolutely ridiculous. This is what's wrong with our kids today. They take away all parents rights to discipline their children. You should be able to spank your kids on their butts if they misbehave. Kids have been spanked for years and years and years and they have turned out fine. They have respect, morals, they are good citizens. Now a days kids know they can call social services on their parents and now they are all out of control. They need to give these children back to their parents and let them raise their kids.

I'm so sorry the State has been so subverted. God is sovereign. Nothing on earth happens without his approval. His love for us goes beyond any tragedy. He is with both you and your kids.

This OUTRAGEOUS!! These poor children and their poor parents and loved ones. This government is causing such huge trauma to these children that they may never recover from. The ONLY time any children should be removed from their home is if the home is unsafe for them. Being raised to believe and love God is NOT abuse, in fact it is the complete opposite. Believing in, trusting in, and loving God creates a sense of wholeness that can not be achieved otherwise. This situation is a travesty and is absolutely TERRIFYING that this could even happen in this day and age. No matter how hard these EVIL people try, they can NEVER erase OUR Father from our lives. He is the truth and His words are our creation.
