Families need to be together and parents are to be the first (primary) teachers of their children.
The only interest the state should have in children is that they turn into productive members of the society. It seems these parents were doing just that by teaching them that sins (a.k.a., "crimes") are punished.

@ denise s. sacramento - just a quick comment to usa stepping in - there is a mom from New York who her son was taken away over 1 year ago in Barnevernet because she was breastfeeding him, they told her if she promise to stop will return the child in 2 weeks....when that time came she went to court and nothing happened yet they took her right away of having an attorney(yes sadly is legal to do that there) ..months later they told her child's name is been changed to a Norway name and there is impossible to find him in the system because child now has a different name, different dob and belongs to a foster family who had him more than 6 months and will soon proceed the adoption-the mom is now on suicide watch because there is no help and anyone could or will help her and no one is able to break the horror walls in Barnevernet.
From my understanding her family and herself being a US Citizen asked for help from here and nothing was done.
We DO need to be all united and pray for this family over and over as only our mighty God will be able to restore this family, not in the power of men.
Please forward and share with as many families as you can here in USA. This situation needs to be heard everywhere and soon!!!!
