The kids belong to their parents. I highly doubt anyone will ever visit Norway after this case. We live in NY, and all the people that heard about this case said that they will never ever consider setting their foot in Norway, or buy Norwegian products, or ever use Norwegian airlines... For Americans, it works that way...

The Norway seems to be a No-Man's-Land if an NGO as Barnevernet dare to take the children of a family without a social investigation of a social workers team from a State authority level because the Norway is signatory part of Convention for Rights of Childrens and Human Rights.

Barnevernet and Gov't of Norway has violated the Rights of Children and of the parents:
1. Was violated the Convention for Children's Rights most important principle: The superior interest of children.
2. The rights of childrens to have a relation with their natural parents. And the rights and obligations of parents to take care of their childrens according to the rules of the society where they lives.
3. No motivation was found to revoke the parents rights to see their children (only in case of sexual abuse, violence, human trafickking, etc).
4. The childrens cannot be separated having differents tutors in case of international adoption.
a) The childrens must stay all togheter at same tutor;
b) The childrens can't be adopted without the consent of parents or legal tutors. In this case must be proved bad treatments of the children, abuse or severe neglect of childrens by an instance of judgement;
c) In case of adoption FIRST in row is extended family from wheret can be picked up a potential candidate for taking care of childrens.
These are some of principle from International Law and Convention for Human Rights and Convention for Children Rights .
