I don't personally know Christian, but I've seen the love people have for him. A family member of mine lost control of her life due to her drug addiction and was finally given the opportunity to use drug court to get her life together. Time behind bars doesn't give a person the treatment they need to get over addiction. Rehab does. I hope Christian gets the help that he needs.

I've seen some one very close to my heart struggle with addiction, and be in and out of the Illinois Department of Corrections, always succumbing to their demons and winding there once again. Drug addiction is an illness that needs treatment, prior to punishment.

I don't know him personally. But over Facebook, I see he has a big heart and good intentions. He been through a lot this last year including his girlfriend dying... his mind is probably at the wrong place. I think rehab is much better than a long sentence term.

Christian is the best guy I know ! He spreads smiles every where he goes !!

I've know Christian since 08 when I lived in Dwight he was one of my sister's friend. He is a good kid but got himself into a bad habit but I know he wanted to change that and I know he will if he gets the right help. Everyone goes through the wrong path but that doesn't mean they are a bad person their are opportunities to get the help they need.

I have had the opportunity to be a part of a drugcourt program and it is difficult but it has helped me more then anyone would imagine!

My daughters father struggles from drug addiction and has gotten into a lot of trouble by law. I believe that addiction is a disease and everyone deserves a chance no matter how many chances!!!! The law needs to look at it as a disease that needs treatment, not jail!!!!
