Student athletes often work harder than many in order to maintain good grades while also attending frequent practices and games. These students are often up late into the night, giving up weekends, often giving up part of their summer to train and represent their school. I feel very strongly that they deserve a special recognition at graduation for this accomplishment.

Yes , Great idea ! But I think all student- athletes need to have at least a 2.5 gpa to be able to play !
