The orange route is far and away the optimal solution to this issue. The EIS shows the number of houses, businesses, etc. that will be impacted by choosing another route. Anything other than orange is truly an unacceptable option.

Even the impact study shows that choosing the purple or blue route would disrupt far more lives than it would help. Please choose the orange route.

It would be devastating for property values if the purple route gets chosen. I live in Sunset Oaks in Holly Springs. My neighbors and I would not have chosen to live here if we knew this was a possibility. I was under the impression the other routes were the ones for consideration and they were under consideration as long 15 years ago. Investors starting neighborhoods considered this when they chose areas to build. Builders knew the routes that were under consideration. The purple route was not on that list.

The Purple-Blue Route significantly disrupts the local transportation and development plans for Holly Springs and Cary including planned transit routes, parks, and green space trails. The Orange Route has been protected for 20+ years and has been used as a basis to develop these city plans for well into the future. Deviating from this planned route dismisses all of this work and our ability to plan and develop our communities as voted for and intended

When NCDOT built Hwy#70, they divided our beloved small Town of Garner in the name of "progress". They attempted to wipe us off the map. The Town of Garner has spent years fighting to keep its citizens and neighborhoods together and we are now an ALL AMERICAN CITY with good schools, dedicated teachers, informed citizens, a rapidly growing economy, progressive government officials, active and caring police department and renewed energy in keeping Garner an attractive and clean community AND IN TACT. What is the purpose of dividing us AGAIN? This is so unacceptable on all levels. Please vote ORANGE!

Where are our priorities? Choosing a snail over a families would be a travesty to our society. The purple route is more expensive, displaces more families & neighborhoods, and goes against 20 years of planning. The orange route is the way to go! Think Smart!

More planning has been done to reduce the impact of the orange route, so as an environmental teacher and a holly springs resident I am asking for the orange route.
