For 22+ years we have shared this TransCanada Trail and lovely serene path with the elk, all wildlife, the local walkers, the pets on leash, courteous cyclists and all the tourists from around the world. As a cyclists if you can’t ride safely on 5 ft and respect the pedestrians on the other side you don’t belong on any path in the Town of Canmore.
Riding at high speeds which we are witnessing more and more on this gravel path belongs on our roadways.
Paving it will increase the speeds we see now daily.
