The local authority has confirmed that free bus passes will be provided for all children traveling between these villages. Watching our community gather around this issue has been a powerful experience and I am deeply grateful for the commitment shown by everyone involved. We will continue to monitor the transport …
We have been told that the roads between Cholsey and Wallingford and Benson and Wallingford are safe for the children of the village to walk to and from school each day. This has only been set for those children that live less than 3 miles from the school. This is not a safe road for children and we will fight it!! Thanks for your support, lets hope that together we can make a difference
Reaching two hundred and fifty signatures serves as a clear reminder that many of us share the same deep concerns regarding the safety of our children on these roads. This collective response confirms that the current policy is not reflective of the reality we face each day. We have gathered significant momentum to challenge these assessments and demand a safer path to school.

The momentum building behind this effort shows that many families share the same unease about the safety of our rural roads. Reaching one hundred signatures will provide a clearer mandate when we present our concerns to the local council. Please help us bridge this final gap so our request carries the weight it deserves.

3 miles is way to far for kids to walk along those busy roads anyway.
