Chocolate is a vital part of staying healthy. In fact it contains a chemical called phenylethylamine which is known as a mood elvator and produces similar feelings to that of when you are in love or happy. Therefore it can be useful to uplift people's spirits and put them in a good mood. Eating 100g of dark chocolate a day for 15 days will lower your blood pressure. An antioxidant called flavanol is realeased from the chocolate which neutralises potentially cell-damaging substances. Also for people with low BMIs it can make them put on weight fast, and it has the added bonus of tasting nice! A lot of calcium is in chocolate needed for helathy bones, there is also magnesium which helps maintain a strong skeletal system.
