Sad are the days when so called educated (more like miseducated + privileged) vineyard citizens buy and bully their way into forever changing environmentally fragile coastline for their selfish convenience and disregard...shameful. Unacceptable. Please reconsider your selfish bridge and respect the environment.

We spend every summer in west tisbury at our beloved home and would hate to see one of the last open spaces spoiled - we can all be patient with the roads as they are !

Squibnocket is one of the most beautiful, wild and sacred places on the island. No, No, No to this behemoth monstrosity, this 300' long 13' high concrete and steel bridge. Things like this is why people come to the Vineyard, to escape the concrete jungle and ugly, crumbling infrastructure (which this bridge will become) where they live in the cities. This is not a case of NIMBY, it is a case of what we cherish, value and love about our beloved island and its natural beauty. Once it is gone or scarred we can't get it back.

NO BRIDGE! Keep this area pristine and natural as it is now! We owe this legacy to those we will leave behind! Do NOT be on the WRONG side of local history!

I'm a Martha's Vineyard native, I was born in the original oak bluffs hospital in 1985 and I'm sick and tired of watching wealthy people break the law and step on the rights of local islanders! ENOUGH! This bridge benefits a few extremely rich people , and destroys the habitat for the wildlife and the view and experience for the rest of us. STOP THE BRIDGE!

I am against this project. We must continue, as a community, to enforce strict zoning that reflects our natural eco-system, and our Indigenous historical sites..

What a terrible idea! This kind of destructive 1%ers project should have been left behind in the 1970's ! In the immortal words of Gandalf: This "shall not Pass!"

Listen to the community that is crying out against this bridge –– they are the real voices of the island, not 11 men who don't care about the land, people, or community they are bent on hurting.
Bad idea
