Child mortality, also named as under 5 mortality, means child died under the age of five, in 2013 6.3 million children died because of child mortality which is nearly 17000 children died everyday. In 2010, 6.9 million child died, 8.2 million child in 2005, in 1990, there are 12.7 million died.

According to UNICEF most of the child death is mainly because of diseases such as acute respiratory infection, malaria, malnutrition, diarrhoea and measles.

Most of the children under 5 died year can be saved by low tech, evidence based, and cost effective measures,reduction of child mortality is the fourth of the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals.

In 2009 china every 1000 children there are 17 children died, because of children morality, 2010 there are 16, 15 in 2011, 14 in 2012, 13 in 2013, you can see it is improving, but out target is to turn china become the pest child mortality in the world.

Our petition is hope that the Chinese government and people can support us, so that china will have lesser children morality,so that china can have lesser child mortality.
