This is a no-brainer. Daycare and preschools should have an emergency alert system in place. Thanks Ariel James!

a good idea, but in the meantime buy a police scanner - I have 6 and they've kept me abreast of my kids school for like 20 years. I even called my kids school back in '99 and told them about an active shooter in Fremont. Made the news even :)

This should absolutely be put into place immediately . This communication is vital to keep the children in the community safe and parents informed promptly.
