Kodagu District is the principal catchment of River Cauvery and provides almost fifty percent of the total inflow. Protecting the Eco Systems of Kodagu is therefore in the National Interrest

Forest is none's property, its belongs to ppl, animals who live there. Government doesn't have to rights to destroy for commercial needs. Its more expensive for the forest to grow back instead of finding an alternative route for that project. What govt shud realise is we should maintain western ghats for future generation else nothing will be left.
