I support backyard chicken keeping on a reasonable, clean, and attractive scale for residents.

As noted, Perrysburg leads the way in being a town of lush greenspaces and gardens, thriving local commerce, wonderful amenities, and most of all a safe and exciting hometown for families.
Clear, commonsense regulation is needed that will both keep Perrysburg clean/safe but will also give families who want it the ability to engage in this sustainable and creative practice. It allows families to produce some of their own food, control pests, make good use of table scraps, and give their children a wonderful learning experience.
One of the ways to keep a place like Perrysburg so rich, diverse, and unique is by finding and protecting the creative ways its citizens/families want to build their lives together. If we talk about it and seek a creative solution, everyone will be happy. We can do this, Perrysburg!

This seems rather ridiculous to me. These chickens are pets, kept clean and don't bark and keep neighbors up all night. Perrysburg might want to rethink where they want their energy and monies to go in the future. Leave these people alone and let them enjoy their pet chickens.
