Ridiculous to take this route due to the massive impact on homeowners and the countryside in that area. Better to improve the existing road, widen, replace roundabouts with bridges...

I strongly object to a proposal that will devastate this beautiful countryside & integrally damage Chichester whilst failing to properly address the local traffic issues. A waste of public money & once the damage is done we will never reclaim it.

If I didn't know we were on the run up to Christmas I'd have thought it was April 1st! This is the most ridiculous idea and a fabulous waste of money. Spend it on the road we have got, make it better for motorists and residents.

This northern route proposal will surround our city with a main trunk road, then houses will be built from the city up to the northern road. This will result in even more local traffic on the new A27 and we will be back to square one. That's before we consider the destruction the the countryside around our beautiful city! The best solution by far is to improve the current road with flyovers or underpasses.

This is horrendous! Why not just improve the existing road! There is so much wildlife and horses around the proposed area, has no one thought of the consequences!
