I own two 2012 Chevy Volts and I expect to get a Tesla Model X. There are only a few things that would have convinced to switch out to the next gen Volt. Lack of fairly common 6.6kw charging pretty much assures that I will not bother with the next Volt and stay content with my current model(s).

I am a true evangelist for the Volt... yet my only COMPLAINT (besides more AER range) is about the charging time: it is also the SECOND most asked question about the Volt: how long does it take to fully recharge?

6.6 KW charging is more effective to help families and even fleet drivers (other than GE fleet who couldn't care less) to plug in more often to refresh their batteries faster for more electric driving throughout the day.

6.6 kW charge rate should be a minimum, but even if it is an option, GM should offer it.

Here in Quebec the charging station charge 1$ an hour to charge... in fact its cheaper to use gas that charge because the charger is so slow in the volt. PLEASE at least make it an option!

My biggest compaint about the MY '13 I own is the 3.3KW charger. It caused an argument between my wife and myself when I choose a restaurant becuase of charging ability and after lunch we only had 6 miles of range. GM please make charging on the road worth while

My RAV4 EV has a 9.6 kW charger. With a 3.3 kW charger, I don't even bother to look for a charging station for my Volt when I am out of town.
