We request that state and local authorities leave the health decision of masking children to each individual family and not be mandated by any local school district in the state of Virginia.

This is going to the Chesterfield County School Board and the Superintendent of Chesterfield County schools as well!
Let the parents decide what's best for their children and adhere to the Governors' EO2 AND
"Va Code 1-240.1. Rights of parents.
A parent has a fundamental right to make decisions concerning the upbringing, education, and care of the parent's child."
Masks do not work anyhow but if you want to wear a mask by all means please do so, no one is taking your right away, Share and sign!!"
Clothe masks have 97% permeability rate while surgical masks have 45% permeability rate based on a NIH study.

It is time that we as parents demand that they put the best interest of our children before their politics, fear, or any other baseless reasoning. Our children are worth it. Imagine the heartbreak of your kindergartners crying every night at bedtime because they do not want to go to school the next day because they do not want to wear the mask. Or your child not wanting to go to their friends birthday party so that they do not have to wear a mask because it is in a public place. Many parents are dealing with this daily. So many problems have come up from this mask mandate. Small children are delayed in their speech because they cannot see adults speaking and interact normally with people. The emotional, social, and psychological facts are far-reaching. Forcing our children to wear masks all day every day at school is nothing short of child abuse.

Schools have already told parents that their children will be wearing masks again next year. We believe that this is a very premature decision that only discourages people in already difficult times.

By signing this petition, you stand together with other parents who demand to have The best interest of everyone’s children put first. We will not sit back another day and let our children be abused.
