I strongly oppose the development of a data center near my property. We chose this area for its peaceful rural setting, natural beauty, and agricultural way of life. A large data center could bring constant noise from cooling systems and backup generators, bright nighttime lighting, heavy construction traffic, increased pressure on our roads and utilities, and enormous demands on local water and electricity. I am also concerned about how this industrial development could affect wildlife.

I do not agree with a data center in Cherokee county using our natural resources for more government overreach in tracking our every move. Data centers are not critical infrastructure to the people. Only politicians. Politicians have too much power as it is, and I cannot in good conscience; condone the need for a data center anywhere in Cherokee county.it will only further the enslavement of the middle and lower class peoples. The use and depletion of our natural resources and the rise in cost to the people in electrical bills, the pollution of what water it doesn’t use or discharges from the proposed facility isn’t necessary and can be prevented by not allowing any data center to be built in Cherokee county.
