Reaching this point has been exhausting but seeing the support confirms that we are fighting for something real. I am tired of the silence from those in charge but this momentum gives me the resolve to keep pushing forward.

30 years of dedication thrown away by one guys ego. Leave the show alone.
My kids love the gang show and they have always looked up to the older cast members. Why change a system that works perfectly?
I have been within both scouting and guiding for over 18 years now! I was taught about one world, one family and continue to teach this to my own rainbows, however it would seem that someone is now taking away our family. We as over 25s give up our spare time to run these groups and make scouting and guiding what it is today. Without us there would be no movement.
Ridiculous decision. The experience that the over 25s bring is what makes the show professional and fun for the kids. Keep it as it is!
I always understood Scouting to be a Family that extended over all ages and as such I have been a member for over 50 years and connected to the Show for 35+ years. If it wasn't for Leaders over 25 years of age, then the current young Scouts would not be in the position they are now and able to learn life skills from those with experience. Likewise Gang Show is the same in that the youngsters learn their stage skills from their peers and have openly stated that they need the seniors to learn from, therefore I would ask the DC to accept this and reconsider his decision so that the "over 25's" can again lead our younger members in this terrific activity.

Don't allow 1 man to ruin a proud Chelmsford tradition he is not the be all of the scouts in Chelmsford
