Urge government in Ontario to lower postsecondary education costs
Tuition and book costs are too high. Not only do college and university students in Ontario have to pay thousands of dollars to get the education that they need to start a career and contribute to the economy, but they also have a lot of other expenses like renting a place to live or buying food. These costs add up to approximately 19 thousand dollars a year in total for some universities. If tuition and book costs were less, more people would be able to go to college/university, and more people would be able to start a career. Less wealthy people would be able to still go to school and could become wealthy. Cheaper education contributes to a better future in Ontario.
