Affordable, reliable and safe option needed to get people out of their cars to reduce carbon emissions to try meet 2030 targets or face hundreds of millions in fines from the EU.

Would love to see cheaper rail service to be introduced for gormanston as for the last few years my sons have to use balbriggan station because the leap card cant be used at gormanston station. Would be less carbon emissions if I didn't have to drive to balbriggan station also...

If the government are serious about reducing the number of cars on the roads, they simply have to make trains & busses a more financially feasible solution. A return ticket from Laytown -> Dublin costs 23 euro, Balbriggan-> Dublin costs 11.50. The train is rammed to capacity and takes me 2 hours door to door - home to work when travelling from Laytown. If I drive it costs me 8 euro return, I get to work in 40mins, in the comfort of my own space. The public are paying for this over-priced transport system, stop robbing them twice.

This is much needed as we drive to Balbriggan every day to save on the cost of travel instead of using our local station in Gormanstown.

Really need to reduce traffic on the roads but this has real potential to happen if public transport is priced reasonable otherwise it won't be achieved

Badly needed in view of the additional population boom. Street lighting in the area of the train station an urgent must also.
