Reduction in fares long overdue- if maynooth, newbridge, and bray have lower fares - why not laytown! Paid 10 euro from laytown to Drogheda. We could also do with efficient reasonably priced bus service

Traffic is going to keep getting worse. About time other options were made more attractive.

My son and daughter have to commute to college daily and the cost is ridiculous. Also if I want to take my eight-year-old on a day trip to Dublin on the train it is out of the question as it is far too expensive. I could get a flight cheaper than what I paid for the train

Train fares are rediciously expensive just because you cross county yet if you go to balbriggan 2 stops away and a couple of minutes drive it’s half the price !

Live in Laytown. Work in balbriggan. Outrageous the price for the train between the fee stops. I never use the train for this reason.

We should be able to use the LEAP card out to Drogheda, the Dublin commuter belt has extended to Laytown and Drogheda for over two decades, this is simply money grabbing by Irish Rail.

Annual fares for train versus private bus used to be comparable, train is now some €500 pa more expensive following hugh increases in recent years, for a service that gets slower all the time.

Nearly double the train fare to go one extra stop is disgraceful and a huge expense for the many commuters travelling from Laytown to Dublin city centre on a daily basis. The other option is to sit in a car for up to 2 hours.
