I could not afford to take my family of 6 to my cousin's birthday, but I can take my family of 6 to Bali for a third of the price. And high airfares are stopping more people from visiting and supporting the local economy.

It's just crazy. I can go overseas return cheaper from Darwin then it is to go to my home town of Alice Springs. Why are we not promoting travel within our own country??

Often it is cheaper to travel overseas and so people do travel out of Australia

Please provide cheaper flights in and out of Alice Springs it is not fair when you can get cheap flights almost every where else

Qantas airfare are just not fair. There is no encouragement for remote people to travel to and from Alice Springs
