We, the undersigned residents of the 11th Ward, continue to have significant concerns about the Chicago Helicopter Express (CHE) at 2420 S. Halsted St. It is our understanding that after this project was approved by City Hall, CHE entered into a covenant outlining certain quality of life issues like noise, flight patterns, and hours of operation. This covenant is the only protection that we as residents and homeowners have as this ill-conceived development moves forward.

Now, as CHE prepares to open for business, we are disappointed to learn that the covenant has not been recorded. Given that, we submit this petition imploring CHE to honor its commitments and record this covenant immediately. Ignoring this request would be a terrible way to start a relationship; we hope that you will consider the very real quality of life issues that exist here and take steps to prove you want to be a good neighbor.
